Introducing Kiwi Business Cluster
Kiwi cluster of Gilan was ranked first among the 12 identified clusters based on the comprehensive study plan of identification and prioritization of business clusters at the level of Gilan province, which was carried out by the Industrial Towns Company of Gilan province in 2008.
Introduction of the target group
Beneficiaries of the cluster include cold storage and sorting and packaging units, export companies and gardeners, local and provincial officials.

Introducing the kiwi business cluster in Gilan province
Kiwi cluster of Gilan was ranked first among the 12 identified clusters based on the comprehensive study plan of identification and prioritization of business clusters in Gilan province, which was conducted by Industrial Towns Company of Gilan province in 2017. Talesh and Rodsar cities were identified as the kiwi production hub of Gilan province. Despite this, kiwi is cultivated in all the cities of Gilan. But Talash is the leader with more than half of the province's orchards, equivalent to 2800 hectares, and after that, Rodsar and Astara are among the most important kiwi producing areas in the province. Also, this fruit has emphasized its role in domestic markets in recent years. Therefore, holding such festivals can play an important role in the growth and prosperity of the kiwi market in Iran
Guilan and kiwi production
The climate and weather conditions of the north of the country, especially in Guilan province, is one of the best areas for the production of kiwi fruit. The connection between mountains, plains and the sea has provided relative humidity and also eliminated the need for cold for the production of kiwi flowers and fruits.
